I had the pleasure of seeing this great band live in New Orleans on their 'Top 40 Hits' tour of 1995. Vocalist Seth Putnam was a very nice & sensitive man; he talked w/ me & my then-bassist in Apostasy for a while outside the venue before they played. As we talked, Philip Anselmo, who I'd known for years from playing music down here & practicing next door to one of his bands, walked up & started kicking the sh*t w/ us. Seth & Phil had never met before that, & I witnessed this historic meeting, which I always thought was pretty cool. The two of them started hanging out regularly w/ each other after that, even making music together. I chilled w/ Seth on one other occasion, shortly thereafter, at a weed-smoking parade in New Orleans called Krewe of Dreux. He was there w/ Phil & my friend Joey LaCaze (R.I.P. - he was the drummer for EYEHATEGOD). We drank free beer & had a good time. We all miss ya, Seth, ya crazy bastid!
