Lani Hall sings Eu e a Brisa (Want to Stay), composed by the great Brazilian bossa nova songwriter Johnny Alf. Lyrics in English by Lani Hall. From her long out-of-print LP album A Brazileira, released in 1981 on A&M exclusively for the Brazilian market and never released in CD format. On this song Lani Hall sings equally well both in her native English and in Portuguese with minimum accent. Album produced by Aloysio de Oliveira and co-produced by Lani Hall. Arrangements by Oscar Castro Neves. As is widely known, before pursuing a solo career, Lani Hall was lead singer with Sergio Mendes & Brasil 66 group and most of the pictures shown on this video clip are from this period of her career.
