\"The forgotten 2015 A.J. Kaufmann album Miau! was meant to be released exactly one year after Stoned Gypsy Wanderer, so it would be A.J.'s 3rd physical album. It was sent to several labels, but none was interested. The album shows a variety of lo-fi moods - teenage inspirations from Beat Happening, Velvet Underground, Nirvana, Melvins, The Stooges, Butthole Surfers, Pussy Galore, and Chrome can be detected under the rough neopsychedelic surface, and despite the brutal sound, traces of melody can be easily detected as well, and the songs are sometimes quite catchy, though most definitely you won't hear such music on modern radio.”
