In 1979, the east coast soulfunk band Opus 7 released their only album \"Thoughts\" on Source Records. For reasons unknown, the album went nowhere making minimal impact. Which is a shame, as this obscure album contains some groovy disco-funk and incredibly smooth soul ballads. Side 1 features the upbeat dance tunes like \"Bussle\", the lead single. Side 2 is where Opus 7 really shines though, with lushly arrangements and productions on songs like \"No Need To Cry\" and \"Hey Big Brother\". Highly recommended for fans of the Isley Brothers.
