AKA \"Natural Stress Reliever / Enhanced With Music\"
The last of the many thunderstorm recording tapes I own, this one is the quintessential anonymous \"natural relaxation\" tapes that emerged in the wake of more professionally and/or scientifically minded environmental field recordings that established the niche.
\"Enhanced by music\" but quite subtle, the muted tones (synth strings I assume) is buried a lot lower than I expected and instead of easy listening piano it's drone-y choral stuff.
NOT SUBLIMINAL according to the j-card. I've seen this before on such tapes, my guess is there's a legal disclaimer in printing this to avoid, say, someone suing after they fell asleep at the wheel and ran off the road.
Put out by Silver Bells Music out of Nashville, part of Word Entertainment, but this particular recording was repackaged and released by other labels / distros such as Eclipse Music Group, Pilz Entertainment, Inc., Creative Music Marketing Ltd., etc. Point is it falls under the type of release you'd find on the side within convenience stores or boutique shops, along with similar recordings or endlessly reissued classic pop. i.e. future thift store fodder.
Still a decent tape. Curious of the origins of both the field recording and the background music. Simple formula but it gels well at times.
