\"Am I glad to see you! The Princess...and I...and, well, everybody...we're all trapped inside the castle walls.\" --Toad

Notes from Robby about this arrangement:
Everybody seems to be talking about Mario Odyssey right now (and rightfully so), and there has been a lot of talk about how much it draws from the original 3D Mario game, Mario 64. What a classic. The Nintendo 64 era was really interesting for me. I had a SNES, but had to run over to a friend's house to play N64. I can't imagine how many hours we poured into trying to find every star. This theme is so representative of the game, because it's such a constant - it's a level theme (for the castle) but it's also the level select music. You hear it as you prepare for the first level, and as you head for the last level. And I've never gotten tired of it.

I first started working on this while I was on vacation by the beach, and now last night we had flurries. I guess these things take time. Thanks for listening.

This is the next track in our Castles project, where we are recording notable castle themes from all kinds of games. What could be next....?!

\"Now scram--and don't come back! Gwa ha ha!\" --Bowser
