when he began hearing these voices, that sounded like ghosts.
Day after day, night after night, he can’t sleep, can’t eat, can’t drink.
Haunted by voices, which one is right? Which path to take?
There she was, staring at him, smiling...
He found something, a place to rest his head.
A comforting smile that plays \"Let go...\"
Weeks have gone by... Nothing happens.
She takes his hand every morning, caressing him, whispering... \"We are here, right now\", he smiles back, and his eyes never look so calm...
But he wasn’t...
Amplified by the inner demons...
Where is she now? all he needed was just one smile...
But he is addicted... addicted to conquering whatever he can, addicted to being heard everywhere, addicted to her, her scent, her body, her knowledge, her love.

Errors... One after another, like a crumbling house of cards, they fall faster than he can rebuild them .
On fallacies and misconceptions, his demons turned against him, and his being crumbled to nothing.

As he came to realize he conquered nothing.

Staring at the sinking sun, he was finally complete.
No voices haunting his mind, nor evil or good, just her smile... so calm, so peaceful...
Dive one step beyond.
The fall lasts a lifetime.
Now he is happy, no more war, no more dream treading.
That cold breeze towards the end when his ship sailed away... she has been left alone.
