This is the eponymous and sole studio album by Aka-Guy, a funk/soul band comprised of Nobu Saito (斉藤ノブ), Masaki Matsubara (松原正樹), Eiji Shimamura (松原正樹), Michio Nagaoka (長岡道夫), Hiroshi Shinkawa (新川博), Yoshimi Hamada (浜田良美), and Yoshiko (与詞古).
Prior to this release, the band had written and arranged songs for Yoshiko Tanaka (田中好子) and Akina Nakamori (中森明菜).
The album was released on CD and vinyl, although the CD version includes two tracks not present on the vinyl version (presumably because there wasn't enough room).
