VGM Request by Hells_madness


Hey guys! It's time to get existential again!

NieR: Automata's ost is probably my favorite soundtrack of 2017 with Persona 5 coming in a close second. But damn, what a game!

Without giving away too many spoilers, this boss theme is such a sick and epic moment in the game and it's one of the more memorable parts of the game for me.

This theme was really fun to arrange because it's such a unique theme that's rooted in almost kind of a EDM style but still with metal overtones. It challenged me to keep the driving vibe or the original but introduce some more guitar-oriented parts as well.

That tapping lick in particular is something i'm super proud of. It plays a huge role in the arrangement in capturing the essence of the original and allowing my rhythm guitars to do their own thing without deviating from the vibe.

Overall I had such a blast putting this together and I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it!
