La historia de este disco legendario, y para mí tan importante y hermoso para el rock argentino como Artaud de Luis Alberto Spinetta, nos lleva a Francia en 1973. Allí se encontraba el cantante argentino Miguel Abuelo luego de la ruptura de su banda Los Abuelos de la Nada con quienes había editado un puñado de simples y otros como solista para el sello mandioca. Allí conoce al excéntrico productor de origen israelí Moshé Naim quien queda enamorado de la excentricidad y locura de el músico y le propone una loca idea: grabar un disco en castellano y presentarlo en los grandes teatros de Francia.
Para tal fin Miguel se reúne con una serie de músicos argentinos que se encontraban en Europa en ese momento y forma el grupo Et Nada. A la formación clásica de rock, Miguel integra un violoncelo, que forma parte integral del sonido y no se usa como mero acompañamiento. Fue un disco increíble donde por momentos se los encuentra haciendo Heavy Metal y donde la guitara de Daniel Sbarra (futuro Virus) suena tan \"Ritchie Blackmore\" que duele.
Para la salida del disco la banda ya se había desarmado.

La reedición en CD que presento traía como bonus track los simples que había sacado con Los Abuelos de la Nada y como solista en los años 60. Como me pareció anacrónico no los incluí en este video. Los subiré aparte en otro momento.
The story of this legendary record, and for me as important and beautiful for Argentine rock as Artaud by Luis Alberto Spinetta, takes us to France in 1973. There was the Argentine singer Miguel Abuelo after the breakup of his band Los Abuelos de La Nada with whom he had edited a handful of singles and others as a soloist for the Mandioca label. There he meets the eccentric producer of Israeli origin Moshe Naim who falls in love with the eccentricity and madness of the musician and proposes a crazy idea: record a disc in Spanish and present it in the great theaters of France.
For this purpose Miguel meets with a series of Argentine musicians who were in Europe at that time and forms the group Et Nada. To the classical rock formation, Miguel integrates a cello, which is an integral part of the sound and is not used as a mere accompaniment. It was an incredible album where at times they are found doing Heavy Metal and where the guitar of Daniel Sbarra (future Virus) sounds so \"Ritchie Blackmore\" that it hurts.
For the output of the disk the band had already disarmed.
