I mentioned in my Home cover that I wanted to do a full album cover of Madeon's album Adventure, and although I don't know if I'm gonna do every track there are quite a few Madeon songs I wanna do. Thought I'd start with the start of the album.
Back in February I was taking care of a friend's dog and everyday I would listen to the adventure album while taking the dog for it's walk. Although I would rarely make it through the entire album listening to these three songs (Isometric, You're On and Ok) became part of my daily routine. During this time and these songs and the album had a huge effect on me. I think that Madeon is great at creating music that is deeply emotional, harmonically rich and melodically simple but effective, all while arranged in a way that is dense, immense and compelling. I realized that's a vague and wordy description but it's honesty the best I can describe why I love Madeon's music. Atleast it's the best I can do at the moment, I'm sorta drunk.
Anyways, hope you enjoy my cover of the first three tracks off of Madeon's album 'Adventure'.
