A fantastic bhajan by the great Mohammad Rafi picturised on the fine actor Bharat Bhushan. I remember the film vividly as well as the scene when this song was played in the movie.

The film version is different to this 78RPM version but is equally as nice. I also remember singing this at a few concerts quite frequently a good few years ago but I completely forgot about it until I found the record this morning! Isn't that nice!

Anyway, I am sure that the superior music of Naushad Ali, the heartfelt words by Shakeel and the madhur sur of Mohammad Rafi will inspire you to listen to more songs from this fine film and not to mention other songs by these artists.
