The organ music of Herbert Howells (1892-1983) is considered to be amongst the finest in the English organ repertoire, and I'm very happy to be able to present to you an full album of his music. Howells holds a very special place in my heart, and his organ and choral music speaks to me in a way that very few other composers can. I really hope you enjoy this album - recorded especially for BEAUTY IN SOUND.
