Germany ,Progressive Rock, Krautrock ,Jazz-Rock

''Live'' was captured in two different towns, Hamburg und Gütersloh, and features new material and two new members, Ralf Twellmann on bass and Rainer Hansen on sax/flute.Despite a slow start with the very funky ''Unfug'', the rest of the album present Alcatraz at their very best, belonging often among the best Kraut/Jazz Rock offerings from the early-80's.Fiery and psychedelic jazzy soundscapes, quite similar to Kraan, with lots of inventive solos on sax and guitar, nice flute plays and good instrumental interactions, not to mention the series of propulsive Teutonic rhythms dominating the album. The band really sounds tireless and the material is highly dynamic and passionate.Very good Jazz Rock with a German aura.
