Sleater-Kinney - The Woods [Full Album]

Playing Next: Bowling For Soup - Lunch. Drunk. Love [Full Album] (2013)
Random Page  /  Random Album

The Woods is the seventh and final studio album by the indie rock trio Sleater-Kinney. Released in 2005, the album was released to widespread critical acclaim. The album was produced by Dave Fridmann, whose earlier work includes collaborations with The Flaming Lips and Mercury Rev. It represents a stylistic shift from their previous releases, fusing elements of album-oriented rock with the band's more characteristic punk rock sound, while continuing lyrical themes such as consumerism and personal relationships.

Rolling Stone placed The Woods at number 70 on its list of top 100 albums of the 2000s.

NOTE: When I originally made this vid for YT I accidentally utilized another version of Modern Girl that was already on my 'puter. When I ripped the vinyl to my HD I used the same song titles naturally and when it came time to make this vid on Win Movie Maker..well I think ur starting to get the idea of what happened...just to clarify shit. Yeah i shoulda doubled checked..so don't tell me cos i already know. BUT if it bugs ya that much go out and buy the fucking record like i did...these girls deserve it despite being a defunct band. And like you should buy it anyway regardless just cos it's such a badass underrated jem!
