This video has been in the works for months (years to be completely honest) and it was so close to not happening at all - making the cosplay was an epic journey for my sewing skills, scheduling the harp session was tricky...but finding a church willing to let me film there was the most daunting task, and I was so fortunate to have scheduled it literally one day before the Nashville tornado, and one week before quarantine started. It was like all the stars aligned so that this video could happen, I am SO unbelievably grateful.
I first had the idea to do this track years ago, and it was always a bucket list video idea - filming Flowers Blooming in the Church, inside a real church. Back then I had never ventured outside of my room to film, and hiring a film crew was out of the question. Well, THAT last part of it still is, haha, but this marks the first time I have ever scheduled an on location video shoot! The cost of renting a place is still way outside of my budget, but I was incredibly fortunate that the wonderful people at Vine Street Church were willing to help me out with this! Seriously, the first place I asked quoted me $1200, and the second just wouldn't allow it at all - but I lucked out because this really was the PERFECT location, and the lighting that day was just right as well :)
