Most probably another low budget studio project, using session musicians (similar to the Springbok Hits series), to bring popular songs of the time to the public at low cost. This production seems to be even lower budget than the Springbok Hits series, which used recognized vocalists such as Dennis East, Clive Bruce, Joanna Field, etc (although they were never credited), whilst this album features mostly instrumentals and backing vocals.
This song is off the album “Sexy Stereo Sounds” by Bacon & Eggs, released in 1971. It's a cover of a song first recorded by Anne Murray in 1971, which then became a hit for Ocean in that same year. In South Africa it was a hit for Alan Garrity, also in 1971.
