In December 1927, Sid Phillips returned to the UK from a tour of Europe with the Melodians, and he brought back with him a pianist from Belgium - Jean Paques (note the typo on the record label!) Together the pair made this fascinating (and extremely scarce) record. Sid would only have been around 20 when he wrote and recorded this song - just delightful!
