the self-titled album by children eating birds, a collaboration project between jordaan mason and lowell satsomi producing an album full of low static and an overall feeling of displacement. it would be classified as 'bedroom pop,' but they themselves have labeled it under the genre of 'sleep.' this was released in 2005.
this was their first album, and it is incredibly hard to come by, as i nabbed it a few years ago, and to this day i cannot find any real trace of any audio of it online (save for maybe a couple of youtube videos; but no complete recording of the album exists anywhere online.)
unfortunately, something went awry with my music files, as \"i sleep\" was forcefully merged with some other random song in my music library, and i just had to cut that out as best as i could. if you hear what sounds like a random skip, that's what that is-- sorry, but i could not find any other recording of the song online, so i had to make do with what i had.
if this isn't really your cup of tea, i get it, but i highly encourage you to sit and just listen to this album because it is so odd and sad, in a way, that i can't describe.
