Here's my video game saxophone and guitar cover of Anistar City from Pokmon X & Y ft. GennaRenee! I'm Sab and I love saxophone and video games, so now I make covers that combine two of my favorite things!

This is one of my favorite tracks from Pokmon X & Y! It was always so peaceful and soothing to listen to. I thought it would be the perfect track to work on with Genna!

I was so happy to work with her! She is a wonderful guitarist and string player! It was great getting to create this cover together and discussing new ideas for the project!

I wanted to keep the cover pretty chill and relaxed since that's what I like so much about the original. I definitely wanted to experiment with utilizing layers a bit more purposefully in this cover. Sometimes it's easy to just throw a bunch of layers to make things sound full, but I wanted to challenge myself to keep the fullness without so many layers and instruments.
