Welcome to Dungeon Synth Sunday! We begin today with another vivid world, built by mastercraftsman, Guild of Lore. His tales from Storm haven and Winterstead have given us some of the most evocative and cinematic of dungeon synth audio stories, and today we present his deviation from bucolic vale to haunted mine, with the soundtrack to survival horror game, Skin Witch.
Available on cassette and CD from his bandcamp, there is also another edition, limited to one-per-person, that really sets an impossibly high standard in physical presentation.
Generously packed to its edges, the \"Marked In Blood\" boxes are hand numbered and limited to a very small run of 40. Concealed inside a hand-stamped, blood-stained, hinged wooden box you will find the album on super ferro cassette tape, a key to the full version of the Skin Witch video game, an original, one-off 3x3” drawing of the caverns, dungeons or subterranean areas found within the world of Skin Witch, in chalk; two scented tealight candles infused with the scents of Mossroot, Gilt Grass or Blue Rock. Additionally, one \"Echoes In The Damp\" 11x17 poster, one \"Marked In Blood\" button and one \"Distressed\" Guild Of Lore sticker are also included. And, the Guildmaster warns, that due to the damp and dimly lit underground conditions during packaging, some boxes may also include an additional random artifact or debris from the mine shaft.
