On hearing the sad news that Richie Havens had died, I automatically went to YouTube to play my favourite track by the great man - Three Day Eternity - only to found, to my shock, it wasn't yet here! So I decided to rectify this pronto.

This track is taken from his third LP, the flawless MIXED BAG, from 1967, and was later covered by Ricky Nelson, of all people! It's a deep, soulful, heart-wrenching gem of a song and hopefully a few more folk may now get turned onto it by its presence it.
