In 1967 Bill Cosby took a break from his usual stand-up-comedy album releases by recording the music LP “Silver Throat.” Issued as a successful 45 single track was this rhythmically-infectious take on the Stevie Wonder hit, embellished by Cosby’s curious narrative.
