Soul Capsule, Tofu Productions (Fumiya Tanaka & Thomas Melchior) and Zip weigh in excellent remixes of Portable's 'Into Infinity' album tracks. For the 'floor, Soul Capsule's Ghetto Mix of 'A Deeper Love' gives the bass and drums some more booty bite and a simmering sensuality, while Tofu Productions pump up its rubbery subs and gives the drums a kinkier Berlin swing. Ask us though, and we'd tell you Zip's Reprise Dimbi of 'Onward' is the best thing here, taking it back home for a smudged and squishy slow-jam vibe really giving prominence to Alan Abrahams' aching, unadorned baritone, also best heard on his own live version of 'Find Me'.
