The Beatles White Album is an icon thanks in part to its relatively raw sound. This sound started with the albums Esher Demos, often called The White Album Unplugged.
This in-depth video tells the story of the demos, including where and how they were made, their previous incarnation as bootlegs, and exactly whats included in their official release from 2018, as part of the 50th Anniversary of the White Album.
This video also includes an exclusive interview with Dr. Eddie Veale, who looked after George Harrisons studio at Kinfauns (Esher) where the recordings were made.
