Busking is a great way to gain superpowers. Just by playing your ass off on a classic song, not even copying which would be impressive enough, but improvising on the spot - you too can gain instant invisibility and be completely ignored! Check out the guy passing at 0:55. He doesn't have a clue I'm standing there! Ha ha! Then the guy with the camera standing at the curb. Is he listening? Nope. He's looking for a cab! Maybe I can rob a bank by going in with my guitar and amp.
This is the 114th version of Sultans I did in the summer. Every version was different as I improvised all over the place. Is it any wonder this was my last day as a busker 6/9/17? Notice the guitar bag? Not a dime! That's Vancouver for you. First, they shut all the live clubs down, then they ignore you on the street. It's a win win! As a bonus, I was almost arrested later in the day. Since I am a glutton for punishment, and capturing my next impending equipment seizure threat on go pro, I am considering going back into the fray this year, starting April 2019.
