It should be obvious from the start, this video is DEFINITELY different than usual in that I had massive help filming! A friend from college (http://www.deniszholob.com) worked with me to plan out a full day of recording a song with me... so after some interesting reception from Twitter (Thanks Mohmega!) I went with this very complex song, Ganondorf Battle from Ocarina of Time!
I did my best to give a few nods to my favorite Progressive Metal Jam, Dream Theater's Dance of Eternity, but this song kind of writes itself! I also made a few breaks intentionally to work in some B-Roll and scenery shots! In order to film an evil king's battle theme, we used a popular landmark from our old university as well as a local cathedral. We got to try a hand-stabilizer as well, filters, and a lot of nifty gear he suggested which turned out pretty awesome! Please let me know if you enjoy the video format and song!
