This morning (11-2-16) very early, the Arizona music scene lost another unforgettable icon. Jane Merial Hilton passed away after a rather long battle with cancer. I knew her because I couldn't stay away from the band she was in: The Clare Voyants. Billy Brett passed away a few years ago and so I pulled out the vhs tape that I had recorded this show onto (using an old vhs video recorder), bought the ripping software and made discs for folks. Her violin was just part of what made this band so magical. I wish I had gotten more!
This is MY tribute to a personality that will forever remain in our hearts. It is through video that memories maintain their brightness!
To Jane! May you find yourself surrounded by the love of family and the love of friends who have passed on. They have been waiting for you with open arms!
