New Zealand, Industrial / Ambient project, Black Girls Machine [aka: B.G.M.], was formed in 1986 [as an offshoot of the; \"Zoom Art Collective\"] by electronic wizard, Mike Weston, previously of Crystal Zoom, additional involvement/personnel comprised of, Johnny Pain, who later went on to form Hallelujah Picassos (and took pride in being the creator of the \"b\" logo for radio station BFM), and John Fleury [from: The Idles]. In 1988 they contributed two tracks on the Pagan Records produced, \"Children of the Generator\" compilation. 88' was a busy year as also saw the release of the, \"Esoterror\" Ep [Flying Nun Records] as well as a VHS video titled; \"Crash Edit\" [where this video clip was bounced from].
