My Connection....
A few years ago, I answered an ad on Craigslist for some used musical instruments. When I arrived at the seller's house, I met a nice lady who turned out to be the daughter of Manfred Koenig, the guitar/bass player and singer of this group. Her father had passed away and she was selling his instruments. Being an avid bass and guitar player, I gladly bought her father's 1966 Fender Mustang Bass (Red), THE one pictured on the cover of this album. It came with the original case with Manfred's name still on the outside. She showed me a photograph of the album cover, but I was never able to actually find the album until recently. Rare indeed! Just try shopping for one of these! Well, 40 years later, the bass sounds exactly the way it did on this album. I thought it would be a great idea to put this out there for the world to hear. These guys were really talented musicians, no doubt. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do! If there are any surviving members out there, I'd love to hear from you. Thanks!
