Chiptune cover of Debussy's classic 'Clair de Lune', which is the third movement of his 'Suite bergamesque' first published in 1905.
I made this cover using Impulse tracker, a rebuilt of Schism tracker for modern OS. I took some liberties concerning octave placement, based on how different sound wave forms would sound at different octaves. I opted for clarity (although all the channels have echo channels for extra depth) in the 'orchestration'', which is why most of the melody is carried by the sine wave, bass done with triangle wave (as is usually the case in chiptune style) and some sawtooth channels accompany both lower in the mix.
