Am Fj7 F Em

Am F
I feel so unsure
Am G6 Em
as I take your hand and lead you to the dance floor
Am F
as the music dies, something in your eyes
Em/Fj7
calls to mind the silver screen
G6 Am
and all its sad _good-byes

Am
I never gonna dance again
G6/F
guilty feet have got no rhythm
Am
though it's easy to pretend
Em
I know you're not a fool

Am
Should've known better than to cheat a friend
F
and waste the chance that I've been given
Am
so I never gonna dance again
Em Am
the way I danced with you
F Em
oohh

Am F
Time can never mend
Am Em
the !careless whispers of a good friend
Am F
to the heart and mind ignorance is kind
Fj7
there's no comfort in the truth
Em
pain is all you'll find

I never gonna dance again....

(hoch gesungen)
[Am] Tonight the music seems so loud
[F] I wish that we could lose this crowd
[G6] Maybe - it's bet_ter this way
[Em] We'd_hurt_each_other_with_the_things_we'd wa_nt to say

We could have been so good together
We could have lived this dance forever
But !no_one's gon_na dance with me
Em Am
Ple_ase st_ay

I'm never gonna dance again...

\"Careless Whisper\" is a 1984 single by George Michael (credited to \"Wham! featuring George Michael\" in Japan, Canada and the United States), released by Epic Records in the United Kingdom, Japan, and other countries; and by Columbia Records in North America. The song was George Michael's first solo single although he was still performing in Wham! at the time (the song is included on Wham!'s album Make It Big). The song features a prominent saxophone riff, and has been covered by a number of artists since its first release. It was released as a single and became a huge commercial success on both sides of the Atlantic and on both sides of the Pacific. It reached number one in nearly 25 countries, selling about six million copies worldwide.
