We are proud to present this exclusive advance stream of Bury Them and Keep Quiet’s new album “Failure of the Guardians”.
An elemental mix of black, death, and punk metals, drawn into a swirling churn of volatility that seethes with aggression – a sonic reflection of the album theme, of humanity squandering the planet, destroying natural resources and environment. The visceral rawness of “Failure of the Guardians” comes cloaked in persistent synth drone atmospherics that bind the pummeling drums and raging guitars together with a sense of unnerving dread.
And yes, this is the very same theme of the album we featured earlier today, giving us back-to-back environmentally aware black metal, from two differing perspectives – BtaKQ from a vehemently anti-fascist, anti-nationalist, anti-speciest, anti-idolatory stance, compared to Meslamtaea’s warlike Nordic heritage paganism.
This release is one of the latest batch of Realm and Ritual releases, limited to 30 hand-dubbed copies on translucent red cassette shells with pro J-card, available from Saturday 12th September, at 12pm EDT.
