Inspired by the fire of punk, in 1977 Dick York, Ray Kingstone & Geoff Green (all from Wickford, Essex) decided to form a band - \"Sta Prest\" . The trio became part of the late 70's early 80's Mod revival Movement and became renowned for their powerful and energetic live performances. Through intense gigging they soon built up a strong following, known as The \"Plunder Squad\". In 1982 the Sta Prest slit although in 2009 Dick York was persuaded to reform the band to mark the 30th anniversary of the 'Mod Revival'
