I hope you'll enjoy my most intricate project so far on this channel! This is my tribute / love letter to Dan Salvato and his amazing creation Doki Doki Literature Club which is my definite game of the year.~
This one took a LOT of work, and it had a very strange workflow too - it was made in 7 different Reaper Projects:
One where I tried to recreate the original track as closely as I could, instrument by instrument, one where I added mathy metal elements to that same song, one for the ending part (Sayo-nara), one where I created horribly distorted versions of those three for the glitchy stuff, one where I created the tape stop effect for the transition into Sayo-nara (I had to learn to do that specifically for this so that's cool), one where I assembled all those parts and did all the sound design, and then a final one for mastering it all. phew
