The Gregg Smith Singers were a rather fantastic group choir noted by major newspapers of the time as being first rate. So why did they record for a cheap budget label? No one knows for sure, maybe they were trying to get their name on a national distributed label. Regardless you with hear wonderful performed Christmas songs from all across the globe, along with a couple regular ones like \"The Twelve Days of Christmas\" and \"Deck The Halls\". This record was not in the best shape and it is possible that you will hear some bumping noises here and there. The choir's blending is all too easily destroyed by filtering so I used as little filtering as possible to get the job done. I hope you enjoy \"Christmas Carols Around the World\".
