This album has been on repeat for me for months now. About a Million is a one man band run by Anthony Leitch. He's released a lot of music in the past few years, but this one is the one I came across. This album jumps around in genre quite a bit, sprinkling elements of noise pop (Admit), alt-country (Ant, I Know You), bedroom pop (You), and dream pop (Caught Up, Don't Be Afraid) into the standard lo-fi indie rock and indie folk throughout the short 30 minute runtime. Despite the amount of style changes, it doesn't feel like these songs were thrown onto the project at random, even though, according to Leitch, that's how most of his albums are put together. Hope you enjoy!
