麒麟3rdフルアルバムとなる「Quattro Valvole」。今作品は彼ら初のセルフカバーアルバムとなっている。収録曲はファン投票により選曲され、過去発表された曲をRerec&Custom。セルフカバーされた全曲には「〜Custom」というサブタイトルが付けられており、その一つ一つが実に個性的である。Quattro Valvoleとはイタリア語で4つのバルブを意味する。『4人で一つ』という、何とも麒麟らしいアルバムタイトルである。LIVEで絶大な人気を誇る「Duck Tail Candy」「ホットロード」「Back Seatで”HONEY”」から、音楽番組のタイアップとなった「Ashes」「シェルディ」まで、幅広いラインナップとなった。原点から今に至るまでの麒麟を感じる事の出来る内容だ。ボーナストラックを含む全15曲。現メンバーでしか表現出来ないサウンドとアレンジが詰まった、麒麟最新の一枚である。
