Sherbet is the debut studio album by singer-songwriter Nobuo Ariga (有賀啓雄). All of the tracks on the album were written and arranged by Ariga, with additional lyrics on Track 6 written by Kazuya Takayama (高山一也).
Produced by Ariga for Smile Company, the album features notable players, such as drummer Jun Aoyama (青山純), percussionist Motoya Hamaguchi (浜口茂外也), and keyboardist Takeshi Kobayashi (小林武史).
The credits feature a \"Special Thanks\" mention to Tatsuro Yamashita (山下達郎).
