Here comes the second release of BRVTAL, another split, but this time focusing on the local scene of the label. Because we put together two defining figures of the contemporary techno scene in Budapest, AGA2L and Adam Krasz.
AGA2L is a member and co-founder of BRVTAL and this will be his first release on his own imprint. He started his activity in the scene as a DJ for a while now and he became an unavoidable figure of it in the last few years. Maybe not too many people knew, but he started making music almost the same time as he's playing vinyls, but until the beginning of 2020, he didn't share anything. First track of him came out earlier this year on a charity compilation for Gólya by Dalmata Daniel label. This song is already guessed what will be his way as a producer. Yes, nothing surprising, his own music style is not far from his taste of music as a DJ. Cruel darkness of sound with heavy bass, noisey industrial vibe and banging drums as we may experience it on his side of BRV002.
Adam Krasz is a Hungarian musician, sound and media artist currently doing his PhD in Sound Art at the Moholy-Nagy University of Art in Budapest and also a member of Műhely. As an artist he mostly works with video and sound, exploring and documenting the environment of the modern human. In his dance music works he brings together the harsh, noise-filled sounds of modular synthesisers with the endless, soulless looping of the current digital age. This contradiction manifests in two heavy hitting techno tracks on the second release of BRVTAL.
