Short Stuff was a Blues Rock band from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This is the group's second outing, and it would be the last effort by them until 2001. The album, much like the first, stands out from their contemporaries due to the quality of the musicianship, production quality, and emphasis on grooves and melodies.
Primary band member Jim Liban's harmonica has a unique driving force on nearly all of the album's tracks, whether it be on the 4 of the 8 tracks he wrote himself, or on covers of \"High School Confidential\" by Jerry Lee Lewis or \"Since I Met You Baby\" by Ivory Joe Hunter. Short Stuff's composition also consisted of Junior Brantley (Keyboards & Vocals), Jim Solberg (Guitar & Vocals), Jim Wilquette (Bass), Jim Kirkpatrick (Drums), and serving producer for this album, Sam Lynn. They were and still are one of the best bands Wisconsin had to offer. Coming in at roughly 30 minutes, enjoy \"Talk Is Cheap\"!
