APOSTASY was Formed in 1987 under the Name DAMNSOUL by Cristian Silva, Playing alive in the first Thrash Event in Valparaiso Chile in 1987.

In 1988 with the definitive Name \"APOSTASY\" and the Original Line up, the Band recorded the 2 song demo rehearsal that made them known in the Undergound Scene, in 1989 the Demo FRAUD IN THE NAME OF GOD Went out gaining Recognition from Fans of Under Metal Around the Planet.

The first Full Lenght Album \"SUNSET OF THE END\" Was Recorded in 1990 , the Band split out in 1993.

\"The Sign Of Darkness\" is their second full album
