BARIKE 'Featuring Tamure ' 1982 FULL ALBUM-.Recorded Raw.
This is Barike's very first album recorded using a very basic 4-track reel-to-reel analogue recorder at Sound Stream Studios in Rabaul; way before PNG studios became computerized. This album was recorded raw [no fx and compression, etc] due to limitted recording technology available in PNG at that time.Legendary sound engineer and the 'foundation' of Tolai Rock Music, Mr Greg C Seeto, would do many takes and mix-bounce these to two-track, back to 4-track and continue overdubs until satisfied.Because he was also a great musician,the rest of the tricks and good output of the final production of these early recordings was a result of his creative imaginations.It's truly amazing.
