Hear the foreboding opening track of Deist.

We’ve been waiting since January for the release of Japanese artist Ryo Murakami‘s debut album Deist on Bedouin Records (one of our labels to watch) and next week it’s finally coming. The record was worth the wait with a series of terrifying ambient industrial pieces that fit together like a collection of horror stories from Junji Ito.

Today you can hear the opening track ‘Wall’ which is paired with an eerie video of a flower as white as a skull slowly emerging from liquid as inky black as the pool from Under The Skin. Let it haunt you above.
