Hi there, here’s another diamond from the very underrated band Snowmen out of Erie/PA.
This really awesome album was re-released from ProgAORRecords in 2018, but (really, really sad!!) in horrible sound quality compared to my restored and digitalized version!
„Snowmen“ were formed in Pennsylvania back in 1977 out of the ashes from the band „Speedqueen“!. After making a name in the East Coast with their theatrical stage show and explosive Rock’n’Roll, the moved to sunny California and in 1982 the debut album got privately pressed on the Ice Records Label. The next year a new 7“ single came out supposed to be a teaser of the forthcoming second album that has never been released. After that last single they disappeared from the scene forever!
Snowmen’s one an only self titled LP from 1982 has really great hard rockin' tracks with fantastic guitar work, very melodic and very precious!! I added the 1983 Promo 7“, so you’ll have the full Snowmen pleasure!
