Recorded at Gojira Studios, Yucaipa, CA, using Cakewalk Sonar
From the artist:
\"As a musician it can be difficult to be objective about track compositions - how we feel about live playing, the sequencing of sampled sounds and the use of loops. However, when you have a vision of how something should sound, you make use of the materials around you. Half of the drums weren't loops, but drum parts I programmed note by note. My goal was to make a good sounding record. I never once thought about not using a sample or loop out of fear that someone might think that my music wasn't \"authentic\". Ultimately, my music is not about whether it was played live or not. Even samples had to be played by somebody at some point. I don't see much difference between using a loop or sample and hiring someone to play the part. It's about my choice of which loop I use and the way I produce the music. I just happen to play the bouzouki, guitar, and bass really well. That's the only reason my playing is on the record at all.\" - Charlie Pecot
