Huge thanks to all my collaborators to start, this was the biggest collab on the entire UT album and despite being quite 1:1 I was really happy with the overall structure! I wanted to try and imbue a mix of older Funk/Funk-Metal music with my usual metal style and sneak in more conventional instruments used in Disco and Modern Jazz without ruining the small band feel. I also tried to get a bit of Dirty Loops style synth+bass play but the end result definitely feels closer to my usual stuff too! I also hadn't had the chance to do a really fun, lively duel with my buddy Insaneintherain so placing that in the center was one of the earliest ideas! I also had planned early on to have Sab do vocals for this track, having seen a lot of her scat and improv style in her own music for some time! It also feels fitting to have Legendav slap bass over a song that uses so much spanky guitar tones too, and his history with anime covers and upbeat math/prog rock definitely helped here! Last is a big thanks to David on piano, who not only jammed this song out in a matter of days but did a lot of music editing to help get every collaborator onto the album! Special thanks also to Spankyworks for providing the Ratings bar animation!
What you hear in the outro is another phenomenal collaborator, Fredrik Hathen, who essentially had the instructions to take us from this song to the final quarter of the album! I absolutely loved what he did with the nods to DBG's theme, hints of \"Determination\", and the perfect segue into Bergentruckung! This album was a huge endeavor and while this is the likely end of the videos for me, I hope you all have enjoyed seeing my arrangements come to life on Youtube. We have a brand new album coming in just a week or so, and from next year on I'll be less active from a weekly video point of view.
