In the year of 20X1 androids obtained emotions because of an error in their system. They were angry at mankind, as they tried to make them their slaves, and so, the war between humans and androids had started, that lasted for 9 years. Devastated by the amount of violence and suffering they inflicted both races signed a peace treaty. According to its conditions, humans were forbidden to construct any new androids or sentient robots, while androids agreed to work and live with humans.
50 years have passed since then. This is Shadow City. You're an android, who got hired as a police officer. Even with all these years of training, you're still nervous, as it is your first serious mission - to eliminate the terrorists at the skyscraper and save the hostage. The elevator you're standing in is slowly beeping each time it passes a floor. 112... 113... 114...
