Mass Effect 2.. a game dedicated to facing the huge odds, epic orchestra scores, and recommending stores using Commander cred.
I have wanted to collaborate with my buddy Lord Bif for a long time, and with guitars, drums, cellos, and more at our disposal we only needed to find the perfect song. Both of us are big fans of the sci-fi trilogy Mass Effect, and I have been requested \"Suicide Mission\" more times than ANY other song! I modeled this song strongly after Periphery's \"Lune\" with an emphasis on build-up and more suspense throughout the intro. Having a nice hybrid of relaxing rock and exciting metal felt like the right way to combine our favorite musical styles, and working with Bif was super fun in this regard! You'll also hear a lot of orchestra and electronic elements trinkling in, but I think the highlight is having a real drummer on a song!
