Band: Coracko (Duesseldorf, Germany)
Album: New Virus Spreads (1992)
Peter Szigeti, Frank Rittel and Michael Eurich (Drums) left WARLOCK in 1987 because the Record Company Vertigo/Phonogram tried to influence the band's style. While Eurich recorded two albums with the German \"Hair Metal\" Band CASANOVA, Szigeti and Rittel founded CORACKO. The style can be described as Sleaze or \"Hair Metal\" but with some progressive influences which make this record very unique and interesting compared to other bands of the genre.
I saw a great live gig sometimes around 1990 in a club of my hometown. The band had a different name at that time but I remembered them as \"New Virus Spreads\" has been released so I bought it. The gig was even reported in the local press and although the reviewers had nothing in common with Metal or Hard Rock fans they were impressed by the excellent technical skills of the musicians.
This is the only CORACKO album ever released. Enjoy!
